New Year New Intent
We've all heard of New Year's Resolutions, but have you heard of choosing a theme or word of intent?

I started doing this a few years ago. Rather than picking a resolution that would last all of ten seconds, I choose an overall theme of something I plan to manifest in the coming year.

The first word I ever chose was mindfulness. That one word changed my whole world. It gave me a sense of purpose at a time when I was floundering.

After the insanity that was 2020, I decided to manifest something special for 2021- peace.

It's not a cliché. Like most millennial parents, I struggle with stress. That stress seeps into every area of my life, attempting to sow chaos and discord. This year I say NO MORE!

In order to manifest said peace, I'm choosing sub-themes each month to keep me on track. I got the idea from my *Self-Care Planner and I love it!
*I'm not affiliated with the Self-Care Planner, just a huge fan. 😊

This month's theme is patience. I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying.

Patience is not one of my best traits. That's also the reason I decided to tackle it first. Can you really manifest peace without patience? Maybe someone can, but I'll be needing a lot more of it.

I'll keep you posted as I work on it this month. In the meantime, find more of me down below!
